Mr. Salim leads UWI’s planning and development of real estate and infrastructure assets, and directs collaboration with public and private sector stakeholders.
With over 35 years of technical experience in real estate development and infrastructure outlay in Europe, Africa, and Asia, Mr. Salim is a recognized authority on the conceptualization, structuring and urban development of cities and their greater regional areas. Over his career, he has advised governments, financial institutions and development agencies to support achieving their strategic and financial objectives. Serving in different positions in The Executive Office of Dubai, including Chief Operating Officer in the real estate and infrastructure group, Mr. Salim participated in the development of several designated free zones.
Mr. Salim earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Cairo University (Egypt) and is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
